About Me

Mmakwena Malebana is a registered clinical psychologist with the Health Profession Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF).

I acquired Master of Social Sciences in Clinical Psychology at North West University.
I’ve also procured Bachelor of Arts Honors in Psychology University of Venda and Bachelor of Arts from University of Limpopo.

I completed clinical psychologist internship at Dr George Mukhari Academic Hospital. I also worked at Department of Correctional Services based at the following correctional Centres: Rustenburg Medium A & Center of Excellence, Mogwase CC, Losperfontein CC, Polokwane CC and Tzaneen CC as a Community Service Clinical psychologist.
I had exposure with most vulnerable groups such as children, adolescents adults and elderly. Furthermore, I’ve experience working with individuals, couples, groups and family psychotherapy. I also had exposure in psychometric assessment, reports writing and risk assessments with offenders.
